Welcome to Grampa's Music in St. Augustine, Florida. In 1978 Grampa’s Music first opened in High Point, North Carolina to serve the old-time and bluegrass communities. In the early 1980’s Grampa’s was acquired by Smith-Whitley Music. Smith-Whitley continues operation under the direction of Kirby Smith & Jerry Whitley.
Grampa's next appeared in Bryson City, North Carolina in 1998. Ownership was passed to Larry Barnett in 2001. Larry continues his operation under the Grampa’s name.
Grampa’s St. Augustine began operation in 2001 and has been in it’s present location, on the island, for five years. Grampa’s is serving the community with instruments, accessories, repairs and lessons. He is always pleased to see you and share his experience of music and life over the last 30 years.
